NEW SCHOOL LIVE | THE NEW SCHOOL
Due in part to the success of my previous motion efforts for the institution, The New School brass wanted to evolve the production and branding of their numerous live stream events with acclaimed speakers and educators, in the spiritual vein of Ted Talks.
Inspired by television news and channel ident graphics, I was commissioned to create an entire online broadcast package all the way from design to motion execution including an introduction sequence, intermission screens, schedule listings, lower thirds, and bugs, all in the space of a single (and exhausting) week!
These materials were also formatted to be implemented and updated in real-time during the event by the team at Really Useful Media. This was the first event of this coordinated magnitude at The New School, and the resulted in an end product that felt polished and I was elated to be a critical part of it's success.

THE NEW NETWORK
Creating a livestreaming broadcast package with the graphical gravitas of something a for-profit network would produce all on my lonesome was an quite an endeavor that really put the “New” in The New School. Here are a few of the pieces I created that helped usher in this paradigm in digital communication strategies for the school starting with the inaugural event, “Sustainapalooza”.
